Ok, I have a rasta hat made out of wool and hemp. If I put it on my head and then rub it around vigorously for about 15 minutes will it help my dreads?

It will help make more knots, but it might make your dreads start growing togather.

Oh well, I can always separate them.
I just tried it, and for everyone with dreads in progress, I highly reccommend this method, it really helps lock that shit up.

I try to avoid wearing mine in public...
Because I really don't feel like getting shot.

    Oh, one more question...
If I rub my hair around with the rasta hat every day and occasionally backcomb, will my dreads take?
Or will I have to do something else?
Because the tips are quite loose, and the roots are just tightening up.

Keep elastics on the tips to tighten them.
