I dont think it's weird that the language they're using is Spanish. After all it's my native language. I find their accent weird, because they are from Spain, so they have this very strong Spanish (as in from Spain) accent. I dont know if it's easier to rap in Spanish than English, but then again I dont rap. It's easy for me to find lots of words than rhyme in Spanish, but I also know the language way better.
Well as it was explained to me, alot of words ryhme in Spanish because they have simialr endings, mainly O's and A's.
I like rap...I don't really get much exposure to that culture otherwise. If you live in a big city and have to deal with gangs and shit all the time, I could see how hearing about thugs, hos, and street life would get old, but man, when you're as sheltered as me, it's kind of cool to hear some rap. I don't like it ALL, I only like a handful of songs and rappers, but I can't trash the entire genre. At least it doesn't hurt my ears like emo music or hurt my heart like country music.
Ray Charles was asked what kind of music he didn't like.He said rap.S'good enough for me.Course I'm old.
I pretty much agree with this thread, though I didn't read most of it. Rap sucks, it's turned into "look how rich I am, look at ma bitchez and bling, Im gunna shoot sum gangsta now" and it's just plain annoying. Before at least it was more like "look where I at now, look where I came from...Im fucking gangsta yo, now Im gonna shoot sum gangsta" ...it was totally more respectable then. At least it was about something, not just repetitive materialistic bullshit.
I searched it and I'm now listening to conspiracy theory without mel gibson. I don't mind overly what they say when they rap, just as long as it's constant, and there's good tune and rhythm.
Yes, and though I do agree that there are a few who are not SO bad and don't fit the modern stereo type of a 'rapper', I find the whole genre has lost it's feel to me.
You are just progressively becoming more and more racist without even realizing it. Congratulations, you're on the right track.
