Why do we have ranks (Member, Guest, ect) Shurely we are all equil??? Personaly i hate coputers, but even on a computer we are equil!!!! I don't mind things like how long we have bean on hip forums and stuff but maberaships and stuff realy aint that hip!
It's to do with how many posts you have, nothing more than that really. The only function of having guest status, before reaching 100 posts, is to restict access to some of the more controversial forums. This prevents right wing trolls from signing up simply to attack members and their views and flood the forum with crap. Other than that, member status really doesn't matter, and you can change it to a custom status....
