Hi, this thread is only for entertainment purposes, unlike all other threads here.

We will share wisdom in this thread, but not in a regular way. We do it with photographs.
I will post my wisdom in photographic form and the next poster will reply in photographic form. This goes on until the last poster posted.

    Have fun!

The first photograph looks a little like this:

Thank you sweetheart, so are you.

[bragging mode]On a brighter note, it IS darling. I photographed them in the jungle in Sumatra. One of the most precious things I have ever seen.[/bragging mode]

Wow, birdy! How close were you to them? Were you by yourself?

I touched them actually. They are very humanlike creatures and they were not affraid or shy. We were doing a jungle trek with the two of us and a local guide.
If I would be by myself I would have been completely lost, no doubt. But it is truly amazing to see Orang Utans in their natural habitat. Just imagine walking though a forest and suddenly see a big, human-like, hairy creature with a little baby on its arms walking up to you. Pretty surreal.

That sweeps me off my feet. All I want in life is to care for these creatures. But first, I want to meet them...Thank you for this photo!

I think there are some more in my gallery.
Actually, we also met a very aggressive one on the second day of our trip. This female was supposedly abused as a baby and was now attacking everything and all she could lay her hands on. We managed to escape after a standstill of like 2 hours where we slowly tried to walk away and she tried to impress us with her physique. Eventually she left us, because I think the three of us outwitted her.

How hard is that though, outwitting an ape?

Hell yeah, she was definately way stronger than the three of us. She was abused by humans who took her out of the jungle as a baby. Later she was released and taken back to her natural habitat again. She is kind of famous. The guide told us that all the local people know and fear her, although she can be sweet and friendly too.

I never been to the Americas, but I want to go there some time. Especially the cultured part of the Americas like Peru, Chile, Bolivia, Mexico etc.
