last night when i got home, there was a package on my side porch. i was excited about this. how wonderful. so i get into the house as quickly as possible, open it up and it is a package from one of my best friends. she gave me some beautiful earrings and a conch shell(lol!!!!!she doesnt know our joke) w/ a goddess engraved in it. also a card telling me....here are some beautiful things for the most beautiful person that i know. happy mothers day to my best friend in the world. that touched my heart so deeply.
Aww, that was sweet of her. Yep, I do, but I can't say it's totally selfless. I love to surprise others, and make them smile, so I guess it's a selfish act.
Yeah...I give my Dog Hugs...when no-one else Does... If I see a Dying Squased Snail...I step on it to Put it Out of It's misery... I Rescue Drowning Spiders... And when my Sisters Thirsty...I get Her a Drink...
Wow that was extremely nice of her. Last night at work there were these girls two dollars short of their purchase and these really nice men both gave a dollar to her!!! Now thats a random act of kindness as well.
it was sweet of her. she is such a wonderful person. one of those people you think you'd like to be more like. i was showered w/ stuff cause i think everyone feels for my situation so much that they just wanna let me know i am doing great. i am so blessed and stella i am like that too. i do it for the warmth i get from it as well
That was very thoughtful of your friend... A weird random act of kindess happened to me a couple weeks ago... I was downtown, doing a little shopping on the Danforth (in Toronto) and there were a couple of homeless guys. So, I thought to be nice, I bought them each a sandwich and a pop from one of the greek restaurants. Afterwards I felt rather good for committing that selfless act, helping a couple guys out, even though it was small. As a reward, from the universe to me, when I was taking the subway home, I sat down in a seat and in the seat next to me was a $20 bill, just laying there in the empty subway car. If that wasn't enough, I got out of the subway and to my car to drive home, and right under my car door there was a $10 bill just laying there. Very weird. I kept the $10, to (I guess) pay myself back for the sandwiches I bought, but I donated the $20 to a charity on the way home in one of those change boxes.
That was so nice! I should really do more stuff like that for the people in my life. This is really small, but the other day my ex-roomate/best friend bought me a keychain just because she thought of me when she saw it. It said "Everyone loves an Irish Girl". Anyway, it was nice to know that someone was thinking of me.
