Random Facts XXVI - The Christmas Edition

I'm celebrating tomorrow the same way I celebrate every meaningless holiday, by tying one on and cursing from my balcony at passing people on the street below...

 

I had plans for a year, then my friend cancelled on me only last week. So now it'll just be a quiet night with some good friends.

I'm planning a nice quiet evening with my sweetie on New Years Eve. So it will be no different than any other Friday night... But I'm ok with that...

Same here. I'm not too fussed about doing something big for New Year.

I have finally chosen place for my new painting to go. A friend is painting me something as a Christmas present and he should have finished it by tomorrow.

 

I've seen that movie... aren't you supposed to toss a coin to a street urchin to get you a turkey?

My family is getting pizza delivered and watching Toy Story 3 new year's eve. I intend to supplement my family movie experience by sipping pinot noir. My prediction: My wife will ask for a glass of wine, which she will leave almost entirely untouched.

You might be able to get out of it. I was notified about a year ago, and I wrote them a letter saying I was unable to get time off work and they dismissed it.

I wouldn't swear to this, but I think I got a letter about jury duty years back... if I recall correctly, I laughed, tossed it in the garbage and never thought about it again til now... lol

Wouldn't really matter, 5 seconds of talking to me and I'd be disqualified... lol

 

I'm not too surprised.

I'm debating on whether to jump in the pool or not. It's unheated this year.
