The ramen thread made me decide to make ramen...

I definitely overdid it...I put chicken, celery, and carrots in it...

I have this huge mountain of ramen monstrosity.

 

Speaking of Scary Monsters, it's time for me to go pick up the grandkids...eeeeeek!!!!

 

So I guess we talked you into it...

In my first marriage I made ramen dinner every Sunday - saute onion, garlic, salt, pepper, sage, & celery seed in olive oil, add water, boil, add ramen, sliced carrots, sliced celery, & canned chicken, simmer until ramen is cooked, serve soupy. Oh, and I just threw out the stinkin flavor packet.

Sausage is also good in ramen!

Don't forget your crucifix!

ramen to much salt.. Not good for squirrels. Maybe deers..

 

The salt is in the flavor packet. Throw that out and season it yourself. Add acorns to taste.

 

I'm bored...

 

Im pretty sure is 2,000mg of salt.. 600 in the noodles alone. To high for me.. my max is 1000 a day. im a stoner that knows what he eats..

my tummy hurts, i have to go back to the doctor for another ultrasound tomorrow and hope i dont need surgery

 

I don't even eat ramen anymore, but I was just curious, so I tried a google search to see if I could find out the ingredients of the noodles without the packet. I ended up frustrated and pissed off. Can't find any definitive answer to that question. Some people say the sodium is all in the packet, not the noodles, but they don't give you any explanation for how they got that info, leaving me wondering if they assumed it like I did. Next time I'm in the grocery store I'll try to remember to do a little research in the ramen noodle section.

Jeez-sorry to hear that.
Having had 4 stomach surgeries, I can tell you they are no fun, but some good meds and quick recovery and you'll be good as new.

But hopefully you will not require any surgery.

well if i do need it, it will be "non-invasive" and they will go thru my belly button and cauterize the open wounds from the ulcers, then give me meds and junk
