My room is a big mess due to the fact I've been working hard the last two weeks and just getting home and flopping down.Strangely I feel I have the energy to clean it this morning.Also I need to pop into town and get a new pair of jeans as I ripped my best pair due to physical exertion.(When I say ripped I don't mean in a cool way,I mean right up the back leg.)

Our local Humane Society is having a yard sale in September and are collecting things now for the sale. This week I delivered 4 boxes and three bags of things and then some. They don't want books or clothes in the sale so I am taking those to Goodwill.

This is the first summer in years that it has been cool enough for me to even feel like going through things to let go. I am also getting extra trash out to the dumpster.

I am doing my best to make sure the trash is getting to the dumpster and not to one of the charities. :2thumbsup:

It feels really good to be letting go of things that I really don't need.

I recently began purging various articles of clothing....i'm bad with socks....

I never want to throw away socks....just in case I get through the 30 pairs of nice socks I may need the 20 pairs of old socks

 

hmm..2:53am...ill have to check that other one to see who wins

 

random fact...this thread was first but i liked the other title better so i changed it

 

I am searching my soul for motivation which continues to elude me.

I've been up 4 hours and have covered an old shoe box with contact paper...that's all.

Best Quesadilla ever!

I diced tomato, crushed garlic, sauteed in butter, sprinkled on jalepeno powder, then put all that in a cheese quesadilla browned in butter. OMG Yum!

i picked up 4 mint LP's of the Kinks today at a yard sale for a friend who likes them even more than I do

My cat Roxy died yesterday early morning
and i did NOT feel up to
playing but now.....I'm Back!

roxy....that is a cool name .....I have an unnamed male almost a year old.....a friend wanted me to name him ''ninja'' but I vetoed it


I was thinking oliver since he is an orphan now

 

installing my own audio stuff in the accord....fucking future shop wanted a hundred dollars just to install a cd/radio I was about to buy....I walked out and went and bought clearance stuff[jvc] at Canadian tire for less money

anyway...installing it myself......I watched a few videos and read the instructions....went and bought proper butt connectors and crimper/stripper....bought the rip-off extra wiring harness....which it turns out you still have to do considerable wiring.......


..so tomorrow morning in goes 60 watts of ear candy.....already replaced the back deck speakers and doing doors tomorrow also

 

dont use connectors

you buy the harness for your car..wire it to your stereo harness with solder and heat shrink...then just plug it into your car harness that unplugged from the factory radio...easy peasy should take 10 minutes max



dont cut ANY wires attached to the car

and dont snort the soldering gun smoke
