I would be dangerous if this house had an attic fan.

 

Why? There is an attic fan in this house that is set to go on automatically when it reaches a certain temperature.

 

The humidity is so high here.

When I was about 20, and didn't know better, I caused everything in the upstairs of the house to mildew.

I just get so frustrated not being able to get the cool night air in the house now.

i live and have lived much of my life
in places where people who have to live cheaply
have to live, and i hear them all the time angry at their own ghosts,
whom many of them don't realize are their own ghosts
because of conditions created,
not by lazyness or alcohaul
as the more fortunate among the ignorant have been taught to claim
but by the aggressiveness of themselves AND others.

mind altering substances loosen their tongues
but it is ego and aggressiveness
which create the conditions their toungues
are loosened about.

wealth and poverty have nothing directly to do with it either,
inconsiderateness does.
it creates conditions that motivate more inconsiderateness,
regardless of ideologies or beliefs,
which only make excuses for it.

that cycle leads to large numbers of people eventually killing each other.
governments try to channel this into wars
because when they don't, it becomes what they fear,
which are revolutions
which always get lots of people killed,
but seldom really change very much else
then changing the names and faces in power.

sometimes, rarely, from the dust and ashes,
something better can arise.
but the odds of this are not nearly so good,
not even nearly equal, let alone favorable
as the romance of fantasy would have people to imagine.

so keep your cars and guns and swords and horses if you wish
but let me keep gods who hate nothing, are at war with nothing

forests and tiny houses and narrow gauge solar powered railways
gardens and robotic solar powered garden tractors.

i know what people bitch about is real
but i also know people walk in the direction they look.

Our "local" TV news is from a larger city about a 45 minute drive from here. This morning the traffic lady was talking about a semi accident on one of the highways. Somehow the semi was broken in half and all the contents came out. It was carrying marshmallows. She said "Now that is a sticky situation."

 

clinton or sanders .....and trump?...really?


i thought this shit was going to iron itself out but im really disappointed with my neighbours



even with all this complaining about obama i bet you all would wish he could have a third term

 

sanders was the change i wanted to see, trump is the change i DON'T want to see. clinton is the lack of change it wouldn't be my furst choice to see either.

the universe is big. very very big. and its not the little green pieces of paper that are unhappy.

however many gods there are or arn't, the hatred of logic is not the will of any of them, nor the hatred of anything else for that matter.

obama a third term? i expect clinton will be pretty close, which is ok, as far as it goes, but if she doesn't do what sanders and science wants, we're all pretty much screwed.
just not in the same immediate and horrifying manor as trump.
