I sometimes wonder what cave people did about ear wax before they invented Q-tips.

I was thinking they used a stick, then threw it in the fire to watch it pop and sizzle.

I can never get enough of it out with just my finger.

my sons granny on his moms side cracks me up...i still talk to her weekly....tonight she phoned and asked what size track pants my son wears...she said ''so he can run from the cops'',,

,,i think she likes talking to me because i say 'yes mam' and 'no mam' and use my manners ...she phones and complains about her kids[my x] all the time...plus she lost a son a few months back and her other son is a complete drunken schizo write-off....she made me promise to make nice over xmas with daughter too.....a difficult task at best

Thank you. I'll look into that. :sunny:

I threw myself onto one once, but it didn't kill me. I'll try a sword next time. jk

RF: I've been thinking that Stonehenge video I posted a couple of months ago had 'The Imaginary Being' in it. He was awfully quiet about it.

The guy looked about the same age, and he had a Honda Civic. Hmm.

i've been a fan of the coens since before that film even came out

let alone since it has become cliche cult

there are some brilliant american films

    but british cinema triumphs.

I recently watched the US version of Revolver.

Then I read reviews of the DVD on Amazon. Two UK reviewers had originally seen the first version of Revolver screened in the UK, and they loved it. One said it was a masterpiece. They both said they were disappointed by the US version. One said it was dumbed-down compared to the UK version.

I loved the US version that I watched. But now I'm feeling cheated, because it looks like the UK version was even better, and I have no way of watching it.

    btw here's a trailer:

I haven't seen Lock, Stock... or Snatch, but from reading the plot lines they sound like nothing more than well-crafted but relatively superficial stories.

Revolver has multiple levels and psychological/spiritual depth. From what I'm seeing right now, I might conclude that it's playing a major role in transforming my life...however it's too soon to say for sure.
