door harness is first thing i check when doorlocks or power windows are acting up

i suppose its more common here because the wires crack and break easier in the cold

 

even with the money, Im not happy about it.. my car is so pretty,, everyone really loves my car , but dont love it as much as I do .. nicks like that make me sad cause its going to continue .. its a nick the size of pinky nail and its shows cause its the edge of the mirror when looking the car head on, thats all you see now that silver speck taking over my valentine red ..

 

Can't you do touch up paint?

 

I actually meant to send you a PM about it the other day but I forgot to.

 

I wouldn't be either. If it was my Jeep, I would have probably taken the money but still have been irritated. It's my work vehicle but it still looks decent. If it was my car, I would have made the guy pay the dealership to fix it. I'd like to think I'd be pretty understanding but I don't know.....I'm pretty particular about that car.

uh oh Ori...aren't red cars stopped more than any other color? The only time I had a new (and it was a red) car, I wound up putting it in a telephone pole. :-O

A little while back I suddenly started having a problem with my windshield wipers not wanting to go back into the rest position. The mechanic told me to make sure the wipers were all the way down (as far as possible) when I turned off the ignition, and then turn them off...and that would fix it EVERYTIME. I don't know what the hell he was doing, but that never worked for me but once out of like 100 times.

The only way I can get them down occasionally is to first cut the wipers on WHILE the blinkers are on, and then cut them off WHILE the blinkers are still on.

Yeah, they are up right now and have been for about a month.

 

actually it was his passenger bitch that swung the door open, and blink just perfectly on the edge inside the drivers mirror, but it chipped cause the curve around the edge took a pinky size piece of paint .. my car is a 2012 Impala that was totaled and rebuilt ,it has a coat of paint on it thats much newer and thicker than the original /same color ..
Im up for inspection nov and the van end the month .. the person I got the car from in my mechanic, so I told him about it, thankfully paint is stocked and just remove the mirror and repaint .. yeah its small little nick but still makes me sad.

 

Glad that at least they can touch up the chip in the paint Ori. Sucks though when it happens.

Lynn, holy hang are you not worried about getting stuck in a storm and they don't work? Yikes..

 

LOL! no, my dear...

When I have to use them and then turn them off, they stop or go to the upright position.

They look like / / all the time except for when I'm lucky and am able to use car magic and make them stop in the _ _ position.

 

Well that is better than not going when you need them.....

chevy wiper and blinkers are on the opposite bar. ive had the blinker go goofy on the old van and the jimmy truck ive had. same occurred when taking to radiator mechanic .. never take to that guy again..

 

95 and up jimmy are famous for bad combination switches...old astro safari used the same crap...internal parts wear out easy



i went to town to buy a pizza....ended up at the grocery store and bought strawberries for supper instead

thats another benefit to being single...the whole meal is warm strawberries and i dont even have to share

I need TREE advice, please.

My grandson cut into a pine tree. All the bark is off and there are some hacks in the yellow inner bark.

Do I need to do something to that spot?

 

Can you send me pics? There is nothing to do to treat the cut but I can give you a good idea of what might happen.
