Ministry here. Saw their farewell tour, but they are going to do a mini-tour sometime soon. My son got some members of some bands here, including some members of his band and are going to do a Ministry gig in Eugene Halloween night.
you know it makes sense hey fey i just located IP but im not sure how to do a pm yet. but hes in the uk music forum underneath a post i made for hawkwind. Cool to see ya hear. an theres no fuckin swear filter, LOL :sunny:
Ministry are probably the only industrial styled band I can get into. I discovered Psalm 69 before I was even a teenager and it must've left it's mark on me. The album is just so hypnotically insane and I couldn't help but listen to it, over and over. I finally got to see them on their "farewell" tour and nearly passed out because it was so hot and packed in the club. It was a great show though and if they ever come back down here, I'll be there for sure.
My son and the guys he got together for a Ministry tribute band are doing another one New Years eve at the Oak steet club in Eugene. I will be there or I will be square. They won't be doing 'Jesus Built My Hot Rod' tho--doubt if anyone could come close to the original.
Yeah, I saw them live a few years ago as well and they sure get the crowd going! Well said about Psalm 69, I have the same experience Can't help but finding Rammstein rather banal compared to that album.
Can't wait for their concert here in Sofia on the 27th of July. One of my most favoured bands ever.
