They are good, but they ripped off most of their image and sound from this band Laibach that is also German Their logos are even the same, and Laibach was around LONG before Rammstein, Laibach just never got as much hype because they are little heavy on the white power image
Well first Laibach isn't german band... I don't remember where it was exactly, but i think it was somewhere near there... I have heard only a litlle Laibach and it sounds so different from Rammstein imo but both are good... They have both covered eachothers songs which is cool ^^ And whats wrong with the logo? ^^
you are right they are actuly from slovakia I think, my mistake but the logo is the same, http://www.legendsmagazine.net/139/laibach1.jpg see look at that and it is the same cross Rammstein uses. rammstein has said they were huge fans of laibach, they do their own thing sure, but to me they sound alot alike
So since Laibach is really big on the white power bullshit, and Rammstein likes them alot, does Rammstein buy into all the nazi crap?
not really, rammstein is not what I would call a white power band most people hear a german band and assume Oh they must be nazis but none of their songs are really pollitical if you translate them. what is really fucked up is I found out about Laibach from a Jewish kid, and yes he was all about the nazi thing lets just say he want really a good Jew I guess
