Haven't touched it in a year or two, but I used to be a big fan of the Oriental flavour.

I lived off that shit for a good while... I used to like throwing in some vegetables and making a soup of sorts, as the noodles cooked.

Zoomie's got the right idea with the egg bit. I like to call it, 'Ghetto Egg-Drop Soup'.

    It's pretty filling, really.

And a good mix of carbs and protein. Finally I acheive your approval, A.

And thanks for not ending that post with "old man" like usual. :)

i use ramen noodles just like i use other pasta, except i put them in much later, when everything else is almost done, so they don't get completely mooshie.

i usually don't bother getting them though, since regular, non-instant pasta, isn't all THAT non-instant. if i did more of my cooking in a micro-wave i'd probably get them more often.

as for flavors, well you know the flavor doesn't come in the noodles themselves but in those little seasoning packets that come with them. these i set aside for use in something else if and when i run out of the bullions i usually use. which is usually the powedered version of herb-ox chicken in a fair sized jar. used along with a bottlecap full, about a tablespoon i guess, more or less, i don't try to measure too accurately, of lemmon squeezinz off the lemon bush in our yard, that i squeze and freeze when they come in, which is late in the fall, when apples are supposed to.

even the plant life gets crazy and mixed up arround me.

    this is a good thing.
