i've just watched the movie... well i'm quite impressed by the music, lanscapes and actors. but there's a sad thing about rambo. watching it is pleasure because it's a cult movie but except the form we should also care about what the movie brings... in rambo we can see there's no possibility for people to change anything for better and that we are all made to fight not-too-right way to protect ourselves. do you remember the moment when one of the people intended to bring peace killed one of the soldiers... here the sentence (live for nothing or die for something) they have been repeating lost its meaning... it's like in orwell's book (1984) where the main character betried his beloved one only to protect himself... would you still consider yourself a 'Yourself' after selling your own live, your love, your belief? for me it would be like life sentence, something even worst than death... why the men who from the very beggining of the movie was persuaded that there's no peace to be, becomes the winner in that game?
