Ramadan Mubarak, time really moves fast. He will say: "What number of years did you stay on earth'' They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account.''[Q 23.113]
Wow it really does! I was looking on the calendar at the beginning of September to see when Ramadan started this year, and I put it in the back of my mind. Just today I found out it started October 16th!!! I can't believe that I wasn't aware that it was already under way. Well anyway, Happy Ramadan everyone! I think I might fast a little myself over the weekend. In Kindness, Diana
By the way, does anyone know when the sunrises/sets during this time of the month. As I understand it, during Ramadan Muslims are supposed to only eat before the sun rises and after it sets.
They are quite easy to follow these days but sence the islamic year is a few days shorter than the Gregorian year, muslims will if Allah wills be fasting during the summer in a couple of years.
Happy Ramadan Mubarak. Sorry, Tommorow is Eid. And I just joined today. So Ishould say Happy Eid Mubarak.
