Be content, to wait for nature, As usual any especially hard crap, Will all return to the good earth in time. Their return can be peaceful; It is the gentle flow of nature, Our own eternal fall and spring! Accepting your awareness you become regular, While ignoring hard crap invites misery. Who accepts nature's gentle flow becomes grateful, Being grateful, she becomes impartial; Being indifferent she becomes agnostic; Being agnostic she becomes spontaneous; Being spontaneous she never thinks twice about giving a crap! Being one with her sphincter, her bowels usually move easier! While she might be indignant over delays she's never pushy!
Its poetry extrapolated from the Tao Te Ching and another example of the same kind of poetry is the first nursery rhyme I learned as a kid: Shit Happens! Sometimes resigned to our humble fate, We let crap slide.... Until, way past late! Shit happens is the rule, Never losing track of time, Pushing past us from behind, Hesitant to wait to procrastinate! Believe it or not, many of us consider this kind of poetry the best reflection of an individual's personal philosophy. Its a collaborative artform and philosophy that millions of people around the world have practiced since before Stone Hinge was built and anyone stupid enough to do so can put in their two cents worth and live to regret it. Every poem obeys simple mathematical rules, or "Oneness" potty humor rules, and we all tend to immediately recognize what works best and what doesn't. Beside nursery rhymes we incorporate popular music lyrics and themes from Alice in Wonderland, The Wizard of Oz, Star Trek, and Star Wars or whatever happens to work best. Its a way of translating primitive tribal wisdom into modern western idioms without relying upon mysticism. Most assume that poems can say anything you want, but these poems are mathematical and, like the Tao Te Ching, will mess with your head to no end if you attempt to make them say anything in particular. Many of us treat them like a much beloved family pet that can provide endless comfort and personal growth, or make anyone attempting to tease or abuse them live to regret their choice!
