Stop motion animation can be a creepy thing. Little more than the foundation is needed to pull this off of which is why I have posted about it first. Playing slides up to around 24 frames per second is said to make this work even creepier.​

 

Chroma key animation is dependent on assets. Footage is filmed on a blue (or green) background. The background is then digitally replaced.​

 

The giant monster in this scene is a stop motion animation clay model. The small monsters running along the banister are actors in latex costumes. Both processes needed to be filmed up against a chroma key background to then digitally put them together.​
