I'd love to think that rainbow hasn't become drainbow. All the gatherings I've been to, I've helped out, giving rides, and food, and supplies, and generally being friendly and open with people. I've noticed a trend, though. Less people helping and more people being leeches. Just sitting around and taking, but never helping or offering. I doubt I'm going to go to nationals, I'm tired of having people meet me, take everything I'm offering, then end up badmouthing me to their friends for 'support'. I've done nothing but offer my help to different people over the years, and what I get in return is 'friends' telling me that they are tired of my bullshit when I stop helping. To the point of calling the cops on me to be vindictive, because they are jealous, or in some drug induced fit. If there are good rainbow family out there, I'd like to hear it. I'm not interested in drugs, or making my living by leeching off of others. I work for a living, I've got no time nowadays for people in lala land. Or people who think that they can make a living by selling drugs, or just plain users. And frankly, I've dealt with way too many of those people at the rainbow gatherings, and in my own city.
