For fans of Radiohead, does anyone have any Trippy stories of Listening to Radiohead while tripping?

Their new Album King Of Limbs came with Blotter paper??!! I've yet to try it, but I know that's something I'm gonna try next time I get a couple of hits. (Hopefully next week haha)

I'd also imagine the album Kid A to be amazing on LSD

I just want to know if anyones done it? Cas I can't seem to find any threads online

My opinion is that there are much better bands than Radiohead to listen to on acid.

I agree. Tried to listen a while ago to some of my old favorite radiohead songs and was so turned off from them.

I think the best is ravi shankar :sifone:

When We say RH, I want to clarify I don't infer Creep or OK Computer. They've got some weird shit, that I swear they did Acid on while writing.... Do you know the song KID A, I think that would be incredible, or really scary. But the entire album of King of Limbs that's gotta be good, why else would they ship blotter paper with the album??

I saw Radiohead on LSD in 2006. Unfortunately I remember nothing about the show or the trip. I was, and still am, not a fan of Radiohead. The show was at a music festival, and I was on my 4th psychedelic trip of the weekend.
With that being said, the Radiohead show that year is known to be the best headlining show in the 10 years of this festival. A majority of the dozens of thousands of people in the auidence were intoxicated on something, many on psychedelics.

I've listened to 'Everything in it's Right Place' on LSD + MDMA and it was absolutely amazing.

On another trip I listened to 'Exit Music (for a film)' on 2ce and it gave me chills the entire song, definitely intense.

If you are going to listen to an album, you should listen to OK Computer tripping on LSD, it's much more complex and psychedelic than you may think.

Listen to Can on acid.... one of the groups Radiohead tries to copy. Now that is music conducive to acid.

Who does Radiohead try to copy more: Can, King Crimson, U2, Pink Floyd, Aphex Twin, Brian Eno, The Beatles, Nirvana?

Blotter paper: Yeah what was with that? I really really want to try King of Limbs on Acid, it's already got this weird affect with time, while trippin' it's gotta be insane.

And whoever said to try OK computer I probably will... I plan on trying pretty much every RH album aside from Pablo Honey and The Bends

I heard In Rainbows when the the trip was winding down. I think Radiohead would be good to listen to while tripping hard though.

yeah man. Does anyone know if RH do drugs while writing songs?
Thom yorke's denied it a lot, but they totally seem like they would have. Listen to the song KID A and tell me they didn't do drugs writing that!

It seems like they would have.

but I believe that mad talent exists and can be channeled without using drugs, so I'm gonna give Thom Yorke the benefit of the doubt.

maybe he tripped and something stayed with him so now he can write music like that all the time.

That'd be cool, I know I want to try writing a song inspired by acid... If you could do it just from an experience that would just be incredible!

easier said than done. I thought I would be able to make some cool paintings after I did acid, but no. I just don't know how to make anything acid inspired, and I don't think I would want to paint while tripping. some people have such astounding talents.

Have you looked at those paintings again while on acid another time? Cause I've heard of cases where a drawing would look just retarded sober, but you trip and you see what was in the mind of the artist and it's just intense

I honestly cant think of anything worse than Radiohead on acid. I dont know if its just me, but I find Radiohead extremely depressing, morose and a little self indulgent. I'd imagine it'd do bad things to my head while tripping...
