Well my day just got a whole lot better. Radiohead's new album will be available October 10th. Rollingstone.com has a track by track preview here ... http://www.rollingstone.com/news/story/16654550/radioheads_in_rainbows_trackbytrack_preview
The album is available thorugh this website .... http://www.inrainbows.com/Store/Quickindex.html at your named price. Free, even.
I'm looking forward to this. It's awesome that Radiohead are offering it online and not through a record label. It means 99% the profit will go directly to the band. I'm sure a lot of bands will follow their lead.
In Rainbows is so awsesome - there no reason for everyone not to get this amazing (and free) peice of art.
The progression of Nude to Reckoner stands comparable to the progression of Exit Music to Electoneering. There are some hauntingly beautiful moments on this album.
I love this album. And as a big fan, I'd like to say I'm glad they finally made an album that's lyrically more upbeat.
I just got the album... Honestly I like their old stuff better. But I am not disappointed, they've made it far, and the album is still good. It just sounds different
I don't want to be your friend, I just want to be your lover. No matter where it ends, no matter where it starts, Forget about your house of cards and, I'll do mine.
Yep... it's awesome. I like it a bit better than Amnesiac, but not as good as Kid A. Videotape is possibly Yorke's best song.
I love this album so much. Nude, Weird Fishes/Arpeggi, and All I Need together are incredibly beautiful. The album couldn't begin or end end more perfectly than it does.
Has anyone been to a Radiohead show? They are planning a tour early in the new year. I've never been able to get to one, so I won't miss this one. Worth going to, or will screaming fans ruin it? Also, official physical release date is Jan 1. The first singles released will be Bodysnatchers, and Jigsaw. Oddly enough, this album holds those two songs as the standout tracks in my fourth dimension.
I love the album. Box set's coming. I also liked Yorke's solo album. Nude is awesome, but I preferred one of the live showings better. Still, all good. Reckoner threw a curveball, and it's still a nice song. I do wish they'd get a proper studio recording of the original Reckoner.
