    well wtf is that about anyway? its still in the universe right? so how can they just say its not part of the solar system?
    or did i percieve that report the wrong way?

    i was gonna make a thread about this....i blame it on the new planet

    they think it's too small and too far away....:(

    ok i can see where they are coming from however, we cant just automatically forget that pluto ever existed just b/c its too small. They actually gave that planet a name, once it has a name, it means something(altho im not sure what purpose Pluto serves the solar system but STILL...) haha that probably sounded ignorant but shhhhh. this is my post.

    I read about 'Pluto' being downgraded from 'Planet' status to a star.
    Poor Pluto!!.

    i dont usually watch the news (and i should b/c of my sitatuation) but i've been on detail this week "watching the phone" at battalion staff duty and they have a TV in there, theres nothing else to do but watch whats on the tube.

    I hear you... I just feel so stupid all of a sudden cause I wasn't even aware of the whole Pluto thing lol and I used to wanna be an astronomer!

    i used to have a telescope....then it broke...that was sad b/c i never got to see anything cool with it. like a meteor shower

    you people all suck

    it's not technically a planet because it does not have a regular orbit

    it's path crosses Neptune's or whatever

    I never said I thought of it as a planet... I just said I didn't know that they finally decided it wasn't, and that they'd found a new planet(???)

    and I heard about it online too anyways
    TV news is evil

    and not everyone considered it a planet anyways, America liked to though

    I wouldn't be too concerned Penny!.
    To me: 'Pluto' will always be a Planet coz i'm an obstinate ol' stickler .[​IMG]
