R.I.P. Bradley Nowell

It was 11 years ago on this date, May 25th 1996, when Bradley Nowell overdosed on heroin. That day a great musician was lost.... listening to Poolshark right now gives me chills because it shows that he knew one day he was gonna lose the war with heroin.

Even if you are not a Sublime fan I still ask that you pay your respects to a great singer, a great songwriter ,a great father and a great man.

 

Poolshark is a sad song. RIP Brad. I wonder how music would have evolved if he were still alive.

it really is a shame.... I consider sublime my favorite band yet I missed out on ever getting to see Bradley in a show because I was only 7 and a half when he passed.

But his music will continue to live on because it is just so "undescribably amazing" is how i'd put it
I mean if i'm in a bad mood I could toss on a sublime track and it'd make me feel better,i mean Poolshark doesnt make me feel happy simply because he was foresahdowing his own death but when it comes on It gives me chills and hopefully one day I'll be able to meet Bradley and then Jimi and Jim.

He really was a amazng musician and singer. I like to remember sublime and bradly nowell by their more happy songs. I know that pool shark displays the reality of the end but I like to celibrate the happy moments of life that bradly had
