I seem to always shoot off quips, or quotes at random throughout any given day and here is one that came out of my mouth much earlier...I said it to the air...Stan heard and said another one of your quips, so hence the name quips.... Confidence is very attractive......however, arrogance is a turn off.....
I had to look up the words quips for clear definition....and it said a witty remark.....Iguess fun sarcasm......yeah, I can be sarcastic, too.....lol
Stan just got home from some grocery shopping. he shops for the dogs every night and he bought Ken's Italian dressing with basil and romano and he said something funny.... He goes to put the salad dressing in the fridge and announces loudly... "I bought basil and romanao Italian dressing because you can never have enough...." , and then as he sees 2 other bottles of it in the side door... he adds... "although, maybe we have enough"...lol It made me laugh....so that was a cute quip.
Don't give advice. Smart people don't need it and dumb people won't use it. That's not really true but it sounds good sometimes and it is kind of accurate for some people. But seriously....I help those I can help.
I have trouble having serious conversations with someone unless I've known them several years, so unless you're an old friend pretty much all you'll get from me is quips. I'm full of them.
I think the Crumb flick inspired the worst of me with that one.... I think I will go into hiding now....
awesome stuff. yeah I do the same thing and when I do say something cool I use it to write a pome or something lol for example my signature. this came about from just saying stupid stuff. not that the writing is great, but I had fun doing it...it came without brainstorming, just flowed out in like 2 minutes.
Are crimes agfainst humanity due to an illness? Is the brain sick? Neurology may hold many answers.... not exactly a quip, but I do not know where else to say it. There is no good or evil in humankind...only sickness.... Are people really born into the world wanting to kill someone else? and can that drive be a learned one? I don't think so.
