you would be surprised out of your mind if you'd how they change over time, get thinner, get fatter, get tighter, chance their form etc. all this if you dont try to control it too much. sit back and enjoy the ride. those puny months are no basis for any assumptions, its the very very beginning.

agrered some may congo without u intendinfgg em to some may go flat and wide some may be thin and ziggy zaggy some may get short n stubby

like i trkied to tell u before ..no dreads are operfect..every dread is unique
theres hnothing u can do about thatbut love the dreads u get
they should be your dreads noone elses
they should grow organicly the way they grow
in s year or 2 if u wanna let thin ones becone congos to thicken em then fine i wouldnt for at least a year tho
and theres nothing wrong with thin or thick dreads..just thins easier to care for
thick are more prone to mold

I must have over 70 dreads on my head...they are very thin, but they do knot up...My best advice is to wash well and routinely...don't mess with them much, unless you want to pull the ends straight (if you have curly hair like mine). Mine did't look like much else than a mess, until maybe 3 months. At 6 months, they look decent. A year they should look great. And a year and a half they should be tight. You have to trust the process...they really have to grow over time.

    ive never successfully counted mine
b4 stsarted congoing i counted 200 mature 30 or so babies
may have been way off tho
when i tried counting congoes (ends vs roots) i came up with 58 roots 98 ends but again think it was way off

3/4 of mine are peencil size
several real thick, incgh or even lil more and a couple are insanely thin
1 beuing literaly this thin l and thats actualy 2 that combined 1/2 way down

they look best when they are a variety of sizes
    none too thick tho
but a few thick mixed with thin

    u can congo anytine
    but
]'congos will be unavoidable at times..they will happen if u neglect to rip often enough
so i wouldnt go intending to congo at least 2 years to see what happens, then only minumuly as huge congos can suck to clean and dry
wow thats an interesting spelling of minimumaly
wtf why hasnt the spell checker flaggedeither,,,i kniow they dont look right but it says both are right
    hmmmm
it didnt even flagg flaggedeither foir some reason its not working at all

    hmmm

where everyone else complained about shrinking...mine shrunk in diameter instead of length. dont know if that makes any sense at all, but is what happened to me. or holy hell maybe they haven't shrunk yet..no no no no no!!!!

I had both. A year in and mine continue to shrink in diameter mostly but still in length to. They are constantly changing.
