hey guys i have a question that i need to ask at a site i was banned at, dont even have to sign up, enter a name and you can post... someone please respond quick
cmon now i see yall posting, and making threads about being bored, itll take you 2 minutes, it will be your good deed for the day
http://home.conceptsfa.nl/%7Epmaas/gerbil/gerbils.htm just go there, then go to their forums, and go into the breeding and general forums and ask what to do if a gerbil only has one baby, because i know that it wont be enough to stimulate enough breast milk, itll take one minute, you dont even have to sign up
god damn, does it really matter? yes, you already knew, IP, can someone save this gray gerbils life please, i have never had a gray one
http://www.abcgerbils.com/mybreeding.html "Litters of one usually don't survive. If your gerbil has only one pup you should foster it with a nursing female - or find an AGS gerbil breeder who will foster for you at http://www.agsgerbils.org/Breeders.html " I am not joining a forum, but I can Yahoo.
i am pretty sure you can use some other technique to take care of them yourself... thanx for the info though, im gonna look into it
can you please ask that forum also, they give great advice, like i said you dont even have to join, you jsut enter a user name and you can post, takes 2 seconds
http://members.nanc.com/~mhaines/gerbil.html#section7.17 that looks like the best advice.. good luck. and don't piss up boards anymore !
basically i was banned because i was honest about the way MY gerbils behave towards me and how i think they feel about me, i was clear that this was only my experience, but they take gerbils WAY too seriously there... Questions You can use human formula or puppy formula to feed the pups with at about double the normal concentration, as gerbil milk is very concentrated. Like human babies, gerbil pups need warm milk, so make sure the milk is the same temperature as the inside of your wrist. When you placea drop there, you shouldn't be able to feel it. You can put the milk in a small beaker or glass, but test it every once in a while to make sure it stays warm. Use a small eye dropper and while holding a baby in your fingers -- somewhat upright so she/he can't choke -- place a drop on the mouth. The milk will take a few seconds to drip into the mouth, but if the baby is hungry, he/she will begin eating as soon as the milk is tasted. It will only take a few mouthfuls for the pup to become full. does that mean normal human milk??? not feel the human milk on your human wrist, is that what they mean??? what do you all think? oh and thanx for going thorugh the trouble of finding that.
have you ever been around a baby? alright, they mean human forumula, like the kind that comes in a can such as enfamil. you follow the instructions on the package and warm it up in the microwave, then you put a few drops on the inside of your wrist and it shouldnt be hot, like it said you shouldnt be able to feel it. then you hold the baby and drop it from an eyedropper into its mouth, and it should eat it
maybe.. its just to make sure its not too hot. if its not too hot for sensitive skin, it wont be too hot for the inside of their mouths
again, i told them what i saw in my gerbils, that they arent exactly fond of humans and stuff like that, i told them this was only my experience, but they took it too personally/seriously i guess...
