really, everyone who "knows" they have all the answers, are always trying to coerce everyone honest enough to know, not only that THEY do not, but that no one ever can.

same reason why thread in Christianity are usually about how an omni-max God can't and doesn't exist...The threads in here are usually from people trying to prove existence...

I think there's also a tendency to define agnosticism and atheism with reference to a belief in God, so what else would atheists and agnostics talk about? It doesn't have to be that way. I think atheism and agnosticism are usually manifestations of underlying positive belief systems: naturalism and/or secular humanism. Framed in that way, it would be possible to identify topics that could spark an interesting discussion independently of God. I think this has already happened re evolution. But God is an interesting subject, even for nonbelievers.

our existance is incomprehensably strange REGUARDLESS of the variables and people are still talking about god........

    id rather talk about unicorns

i feel like people that say their is a god and know it should quit their job and sacrafice a goat or something..........you know what i mean?......its idiotic to beleive consumerism and a man against man lifestyle are the kind of activities a being aware of "GOD" would even think of participating in.....this is EXTREMELY particularly true with most western religions......

and i think atheist are agnostics holding a grudge

    lol

:D No, we're just holding our own. Let others come to our words. We don't begrudge them theirs!

Nothing is stuck. Let every metaphysic crash around us.

well what else would you talk about in an atheist and agnostic forum?
aren't those terms directly related to God and his existence/nonexistence?

That pretty much sums up the whole thing.

A simple and concise summary of the entire agnostic philosophy.

    Very cool. Well stated.
