Hey Iv'e done acid twice before, both times I did 3 hits and I like the strange sensations and the mind fuck but so far but I haven't really gotten much in visuals. I have decided to buy from a different more legit dealer who sold me 10 hits for 50$. I am planning on doing Acid with some friends this weekend in the safety of my apartment and I'm wondering what would happen if I took all ten at once. I really wanna see what it would be like to trip like crazy hard and I'm wondering is this safe or is it just a bad idea? I want to do more than three so if ten is to much how many should i do? (My friends are doing 2 hits and there will be one sober person there whom I trust with my life). P.S. does anybody know any great ways to sober up off acid? I know sleep works well but is there anyway I can stay awake and counteract the affects of it.
Why would you want to counteract the effects of it? I'm sure you'll have a great time with 10. The amount of Acid the majority of users took back in the late 60s and 70s was probably way more than that and they had a great time. DO IT.
if you are getting it from a new guy I would not go for all 10 at once, you may only 2 or 3 to really trip hard maybe this new guy has a better source, maybe he handles it better so it is more potent, i find alot of people selling acid have no idea how to store it and then it looses potency
Try 5 or 6 instead. Just double your dose. When I did that it changed my life. I cannot stress how radically different 5 hits is from 2 hits, of the same stuff. It's almost like a different drug, you get whole new effects and levels of perception and thought. One day I'll take 10.
I ate a 10-strip one time. It's not a big deal really. The experience wasn't any more intense than on 4 or 5. Maybe it's just me, but it seemed like kind of a waste of blotter. I have just as much fun on 2 or 3. OP: best method IME is eat 2, wait to come up. If not strong enough for ya, take another 1 or 2. You can gauge the strength as you go. Things that will counteract (i.e. weaken) the sid are SSRIs and benzos. People say these are dangerous, tho I never had a problem with the mix. Just don't take 20 xanax or sth and you should be fine. Be smart. Pot may also help if you're anxious and need to chill. Happy trails.
if your getting it from a new guy i would not recomend taking all ten at once. like unfocused anakin said it may be way better acid and ten might be more than you were looking for. this summer i was in a very similar positions as you are in now. the first time a did acid i took 5 hits of "ghosties" print blotter. it was moderately strong but a perfect dose for my first time. the second time i triped it was liquid from the same guy. i took 4 hits. it felt stronger than the first time for about 4 hours, but then was completley gone after 8 hours (unlike the first time when it went for a full 16 hours). anyway the third time i tripped i got it from the same guy again. it was the "ghosties" paper again. i got a ten strip(2x5) and was gonna split it with my friend 6-4. the day we were gonna trip turned out my friend already had some of his own. i ended up taking about 6.5 hits to start off with. and boy was i glad i didnt eat the whole ten strip. i would say that even though it was the same print it was at least twice as potent. so way stonger acid + me taking more had me fucking gone. now i love tripping and it wasn't a problem. it was just way stronger than i had expected. i just would have had just a good time with say 4 hits but with less side effects(acid gives me really bad muscle tension/spasms and i already have a pretty bad neck so it can be quiet uncomfortable) the point of the story is that yo can never really tell how strong your acid is until you take some of that specific batch. and from my story here - even the same print can vary alot if its cut off a different sheet. if its only your third time and your getting it from a new source i would recomend starting at 3 again, gauge it, then go for 7 if you feel comfortable with it. i would recomend this kind of dose caution with acid more than other psychadelics simply because it lasts so long. if you take more than your comfortable with, its gonna be a long ride. anyhoo thats my 2 cents. happy tripping -blitz

I do agree that you should not start with the 10 hits, 2 or 3 will be good but I still will try to be a bit careful and ask about the acid, if it is the same from last time well go ahead and eat 3 but if it is a different one, I'll will try them first and then increase the dose. I have taken acids that you need 3+ to get a decent trip and other where 1 is more than enough
benzos sober me up pretty fast actually..i was addicted for a while and whenever i took L i would have to dose much higher than normal to get any effects..a few times i barely noticed it and only had visuals for about an hour. same story with SSRIs (anti-depressants). there is research to back this up too. http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/maois/maois_info4.shtml
I had 10 hits of grade A acid, but that was after I'd dropped 40 times and just dropped 3 days before that..so i suppose that makes some difference.
dont get me wrong, i love taking 10 hits, it is an amazing experience but for someone who has only had a few trips and with (possibly) average potency, it seems negligent to suggest it.
