Question to liberals

I think a more important question than "why do liberals wear Che accessories" is why do liberals or communists or anybody support someone who was such an enthusiatic supporter of dictatorship, who after castro seized power displayed a chilling zeal for mass executions, and whose ham fisted enthusiasm for an economy where goods were valued based on their "social worth" threw the Cuban economy into absolute ruin? A man who was part of a regime that denied Cubans virtually every human right?
