has anyone here personally gotten pregnant from the 'pull-out' method? if so what were the circumstances? just curious how many people had this actually happens to

I got pregnant by the "I was GUNNA pull out..." method.

It's really not a very effective method. It's kind of like a fireworks show... there's a little bit here and there before the grand finale.... so, the actually shoots out tiny little bits of semen before the big blow out, so there's a chance, even if he pulls out. The best thing to do is wear a condom or get on birth control.... or both.

Yep. Not effective. Bad choice of birth-control. I got preggy right away. Pre-cum...gets you every time.

I have never gotten preg by preejaculate semen. Maybe my husband doesn't have a lot of sperm in there at that time. I get pregnant at the drop of a hat, so not being careful is a pregnancy for us. I wouldn't recommend this method unless you are in a relationship and a pregnancy isn't a huge problem. I certainly wouldn't and didn't use it before I was done with college. If you are really not ready for kids, please use something else.

 

I got pregos from the "pull out" method. We had been doing that for 2 1/2 years before that and even though I knew better....I was stupid about it. And yes, he always ended up pulling out, but of course, it didnt work. The weird thing was.....on the night that I concieved, he pulled out like ususal, but I had this wierd feeling like.....I just got pregnant tonight. 2 weeks later out of nowhere I was starting to notice all these babies everywhere I went and at the grocery store I was strangely drawn to the baby section. 3 more weeks and my suspicions were confirmed.:& Using the pull out method is like playing russian roulette.....it isnt really a matter of "if" it will happen, rather a matter of "when"......for most people anyway.

i know it is not a smart form of birth control b/c of diseases and a chance of pregnancy i was just wondering how often it actually happened to real people, so thank you everyone for helping me. see i know it is not smart and it wasn't like we planned to use the pull out method it just happened twice (at night and in the morning) and i have always used condoms with this guy. in fact there has only ever been one guy i didn't and i was 19 and stupid. anyway, i just have this feeling that something may have happened that night and he didn't get out as quick as he should..or that the precum got me. i just have this wierd feeling i can't explain it. plus it happened to be the most fertile time of the month for me so i am worried something could have happened. i am scared a little bit but i guess it is a waiting game either way.

Parents..hehehe... I am 8 weeks prego right now from the pull out method,for the second time. It is really russian roulette. We werent trying or not trying to get pregnant though. Doesent sound like you should be playing this game any more.....

When we got pregnant with Ryvre, we were in high school, and honestly thought that "pulling out" was a pretty safe alternative to other contraceptives...wrong! We'd been "doing it" maybe once a week, for less than 5 months when we figured it out the hard way, lol. It was all cool, because we'd been together since junior high, and knew we would get married and have kids anyway, some day, but our parents weren't so thrilled about it, lmao.

When we got pregnant with Willow, Ryvre had just turned 1, and we literally hadn't had sex in months. Those few times that we did, we used condoms, because i did NOT want to have any more babies until our oldest could babysit, lol. Well, wouldn't you know, the one time we were lazy about it, we got our little girl! Now, we just don't sleep in the same room, to be safe, LMFAO!

I've also heard the pull-out method called Vatican Roulette, lmao. Or was it the calendar method that is called that? Well, lemme tell ya, neither one works, because i thought i was doing both, hahaha!

hey ryvrewillow I beat ya in that I did wait to screw up again until my first is 12. She is at her dads for 1 month and coming back in august. We havnt told her yet and I know she will know we f*cked up. ha ha hehe... I guess this is one of those lessons she can learn the hard way through me. another good point for being the daughter of a young mother...

so Ryvrewillow, are you saying that after months of no sex and then got pregnant, that was not b/c he didn't pull out, but he did pull out and you got pregnant?

cause i was still feeling fairly safe b/c it seems as if most people who have posted were using that method for a long time before it 'got them' and we have always used condoms except this incident. but if it only took once for you, that makes me think twice...

also, were you worried in the days right after that you may have gotten pregnant? and if you did, how long until you felt a little 'something'? sorry to ask so many questions but i am just trying to get all and any info i can, in a wierd way it helps me feel like i am 'doing' something (getting info) in a time when i can really not do anything and it gives me some piece of mind.

 

In my sexual relationship, my problem was I could never cum during sex, no matter how long I fucked for. So pregnancy was never an issue. Although I did usually wear a condom, just in case.
