i have that google earth program on my computer and it is really cool. I also like to browse the reltor.com web site for land for sale all over the country. Anyhow, I stumbled across land for sale in christmas valley oregon, 40 acres for 16,000.00 dollars. Very cheap. When I went to google earth and typed in the name christmas valley and zoomed in as close as i could, I saw these funky green circles, they look to be perfectly round, bright green, sized maybe 100 acres across? Im not sure but i was wondering if anyone out there might know what those green circles are? They seem to be all over the area actually. Also, can anyone tell me why the land there is so cheap? Thanks all
the green circles are fields....they have a center pivoting sprinker system the just keeps rotating ...that way they do not have to move the sprinklers by hand and the land is cheap because it is out there, few trees(i think) and higher altitude
looks weird from above and thought maybe that they were fields, but glad to know for sure now. Thanks also for the heads up about the land pricing.
