Question for NEtflix USers!!

I have rated about 130 movies now after a week of having Netflixs and i was wondering do you guys watch the movie NF recommends you?

 

I do, and their recommendation system is pretty accurate I would say, but not always.

 

I have rate now like 633 movies and you?

Have you ever seen "The Last King of Scotland" It's real good, put it on your list if you haven't already.

 

You guys are both ahead of me. I only have 64 rated. I mainly browse the new releases, but I did choose a recomendation the other day. Netflix it awsome except my queue gets screwed up every once in a while.

 

lol and I have only had it for two weeks now.....

you know i heard and saw it on NF but i thought it would be stupid so i guess i will watch it now.......

 

Well, I kinda went nuts on the rating thing because it makes sense. I'm over 2k in ratings and the suggestions they have come up with make me raise an eyebrow. They even come up with custom genres for any appetite. Like Dark, creepy, thrillers. I dig the flix.

the netflix recomendation are fairly good for me.
i have rated about 2,000 movies.

i have found out though, that amazon.com is far, far, better at their recommendations for me, then netflix is!

i think this is due to the fact that, amazon.com draws from more forms of media, then just movies or television like netflix does.

 

I like the rating system and is fairly accurate. It is why, I like to rate as well.

 

I tend to read the movie's summary, and other people's reviews before letting NF choose my movie.
