Hi guys I live in Portugal and one of my friends asked me the name of a certain type of revision in English I of course dont know the answer.

So they put out a book its ready to be put on the shelves but they omitted certain things in the book (tourist book, forgot a couple restaurants, something like that) What they do is they put a piece of paper in the book with the missing information. What is this called in english?

In portuguese it is called Erratum, which translates to erratum which turns out is a real word.

Yes, erratum would work; errata would be the plural form.
