Here in Europe (or at least here in DK) it seems like the most available sorts consists of 75% Indigo & 25% Sativa.

I wonder why there is no sort consisting of more Sativa more available to anybody who would like to have a nice spliff, since Indigo has a more social introspective/ doping effect than Sativa, that has a more out-turned or high/expressive effect.

Most of you are americans. Don't you have some mexican sort on your continent? How is that?

    Love,

The reason DK has more Indica dominant strains is your latitude, as you mention Sativa's are a southern strain and don't do well in northern climes:>)

Yeah, we're having the latitudes against us here in DK ;). But I also mean skunk sorts in general. It seems like the Indica is quite dominant, not only as outdoor plant, but as a indoor plant as well - good seeds are not impossible to get, but they're not easy to get on my latitudes.

I don't see why I can't find seeds that are pure sativa for growing skunk. I don't see the point by refining the doping effect in skunk, unless the purpose is to stone ppl.

Seems like it's quite hard to retrieve seeds that's pure sativa to grow as skunk...

Skunk is an indica strain, broad leaf, one long cola on center limb and lesser colas on side stems.

Sativas grow taller, narrow leaves, and bud clusters indicative of sativa strains.

Check out the seed strains at MJ Guide.>)

Okay..! I didn't know that. Thanks for info.
Aren't sativa strains suitable as indoor plants? In case not, that's strange, I guess, since these strains need a lot of warmth (I guess??).

As long as one keeps temps comfortable for humans one may grow sativa, my tree is on the left coast usa N of SF year round temps range from 30's-70's heavy fogs make things seem colder, our grow room rarely gets over 70 and can get down into the 30's sometimes upper 20's in winter. We grow both Sats. and indica strains, they both do well in this environment, out of the 4 crops per year the one that falls in Dec. and Jan. produces the least. but if we heated the room during sleep time it would prob make no difference:>)

Thanks for answer. Then it must be possible to grow pure sativa strains where I'm living too... I just guess that I must look harder for pure sativa seeds. They're not easy to find..

O no! Now ya went and stirred up memories of me youth when we lived in the great southwest USA.

The 60's & 70's were a cornacopia of sativas coming out of our neighbor to the south, with names like Panama Red, and any number of strains named after mexican states, etc.

Each of which gave a different........experience{=>) Those were the days!

I live in South Africa, and we mostly have a sativa, but the sativa here is swazi, which pretty much fuckes you over like an indica.
