    hey whats up,

today a friend came to my house and smoked some stuff this was like 1 or 2 hours ago so im baked xD hahahaha well the thing is that he told me he and another two friends of mine spent one whole year getting drunk everyday, two of them repeated one year in highschool while they were doing that. One of them used to do pretty well at school when we were young, but nowdays all of them seem a lil bit retarded and less intelligent. i was wondering if the alcohol had anything to do with that.

Getting drunk is very bad for your health.

One thing I hate is when beer companies sponsor concerts and other events. No one is obviously going to be buying one cup of beer to sip for taste. They're selling it to people who are obviously going to be getting drunk. Bad vibes for music, man. They should legalize and get cannabis stands instead. Because you're not going to be obnoxious or angry if you're high, and being high isn't bad for your health, either. It makes you more tuned in.

Anyways, tell them to stop alcohol completely and smoke cannabis every day instead. Maybe it'll regenerate some brain cells. :ssmokeit:

yeah man, they stopped doing alcohol everyday, now they smoke weed and things are going better, they still do some dumb shit though and hear to crap music 24/7, the alcohol damage is permanent or will it fade away with time?

thanks for the answears, i felt pretty sad when they told me that.

I'd say it depends on the individual.

You can drink a small amount each and as long as you eat healthy, keep yourself hydrated and exercise you'll be fine. It's the dehydration that kills your brain cells. Avoid binging too often and never to excess.

A little can be beneficial. It all depends on your life, the climate you live in and YOU

It's also the fact that most people don't drink it as a beverage but drink it to get drunk. Alcohol is a hard drug, and people who drink it to get drunk put their bodies at risk.

drinking heavily everyday effects your brain no doubt. but how will we ever know if they would've been smarter? usually the fog will wear off. we all make our own choices, hopefully they learned. the more harmed thing is the whole digestive sytem and kidney and livers i would assume.

You're attributing typical teenage behavior to alcohol, your friends don't have any "alcohol damage", so don't worry about it.

You have to get drunk every day for decades before having any "alcohol damage". Now that they're smoking everyday they're burn outs instead of drunks, so no they won't get any "better". At least not until they learn to do either in some sort of moderation.

Yes. The body interprets ANY amount of alcohol as poison. While some studies have shown modest benefits of low-dose daily wine consumption, overall it's a bad idea to drink daily. People generally know how alcohol affects the liver, but it is also toxic to the brain, causing a condition known as Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome over time in heavy drinkers. Those "blackouts" and hangovers are every bit as bad for you as they feel.
