When does school starts in AU and NZ? I don't know cause when in Europe is summer there is winter so... And maybe I go to AU so i'm interested. sorry for the stupidity and thanks for the answer
The schoold year is just the year -- February-ish to Novemberish. Much simpler than starting the Damn academic year somewhere in the middle of the year -- also means long holidays in summer/xmas/newyear -- yay!
yeah, the northern hemisphere really got the bum end of the deal there. and wouldn't u get confused... talking about the beginning of the year in august??
my mum was always jelous of the way things worked out in the north - she hated the stress of organising christmas, christmas shopping and the new year with three kids on long holidays at the same time.
i think we got the sweet end of the deal hehe.....we get snow at christmas and new years...but i dont see any difference in starting in march than starting in august...and its kinda cool to have all the big events of the year come during the mid winter break(christmas/new years)..and thankgiving/superbowl just before/after it.. but i see we're both content, so thats good hehe
Tru tru, Im not Americian as such or Canadian and I like Ice Hockey better than our National Sport, Rugby
i just dont have any vested interest in any team, so its not really exciting for me..except when its olympics
i just think thats its not a gurantee you'll have snow for xmas day - unless you live in some fridgey hell hole and a xmas on the beach is just so warm and lovely - aw, i can't wait
i've had a green christmas only once in 20 years of christmas..there is almost always snow in the north east on that day even if not on the day...christmas to me is a period of time..from thanksgiving(llike november 25ish) to super bow(january 27thish)l..so snow during that time is just great and yes, vermont is a fridgey hell hole, but its my fridgey hell hole
