I love that Pepsi commercial where young Jimi Hendrix is trying to choose between Pepsi and Coke, and chooses Pepsi, and when he looks up he sees the guitar in the music store window and Purple Haze starts playing, then he look over the the store across the street with the Coke machine and it's an accordian store, and you hear Purple Haze accordian style. I've had Purple Haze stuck in my head all day!! "Purple haze all in my brain Lately things just don’t seem the same Actin’ funny, but I don’t know why ’scuse me while I kiss the sky"!!!! But speaking of which, I've never tried Purple Haze. How is it different than regs?
Apparently, Purple Haze is an extremely potent 100% sativa strain, rather than being an indica strain. Sativa tends to make a person more giggly and give them more of a mind-high, where thinking is improved and the head may feel floaty; it is much further from the indica "stoned-off-your-ass-so-heave-you-don't-want-to-do-anything-but-sleep" stereotype.
Purple Haze is the shit. I've only been able to taste it's glory once, but it got me stoned off my ass, and from what I've heard it's ridicilously expencive down here.
The true Purple haze genetics no longer exist.. But there are many spin-offs.. So purple genetics still exist. Although many strains will turn purple if exposed to cool temperatures when late in flowering.. So if anyone tells you they had real purple haze there full of it, or just very gullable in believing their dealers.. It's not the 'holy grail' of weed out there anyways. There are much more potent strains out there.. Most purple strains are weak.. Not grown for the potency, rather the look, taste and smell..

Its an awesome song and the first time i heard it properly, i was stoned, so it always brings the feeling of weed and being stoned and stuff, despite that i knew it was about acid when ifrst heard it.
