pumpkin ale

pumpkins and beer should just not mix. This shit is terrible

 

at an old place i worked we had like a Pumpkin Spice on tap... it was decent.. but definitely could only drink one... think Leinies made it

 

well this one is a home brew. my dads friend made it and apparently all he did was add a can of pumpkin to the mix. Im not a big fan of canned anything when it comes to making food or a beverage

 

that sounds disgusting.. he should have used like an extract for flavoring.. not a can of mashed pumpkin

 

i know it is but im 5 beers deep and 117 pounds so it doesnt matter so much now abvout taste

I'm not a fan of flavored beers like that, but I think pumpkin ale would be pretty tasty. Depending on how dark/thick it was.
I could definitely only drink one, though.. those types of beer are always too sweet for my stomach.

 

for the most part i agree, but dogfish head has some damn good pumpkin ale.

in general, i'm a big believer in pumpkin EVERYTHING, though

Agreed 100% its the only pumpkin ale I have ever had that was enjoyable to drink. But I'd still chose the 60 or 90 min IPA over the pumpkin if I had a choice.

Pumpkin Ales dont appeal to me. and I agree with skier. 90 min IPA over punkin ale anyday
