Im going to London in November.
I know there are a lot of really great pubs. But, are there any that have any cool bands playing?

    Thanks

Check out the Devinshire Arms (goth pub, make sure your dressed appropiately) and the Snooty Fox I think its called, both in Camden. The Worlds End is cool as well but its fucking expensive!

The Guinea is a splendid restaurant in Mayfair and has a terrific beer menu, too.

Bit far out maybe, but the Maynard Arms in Crouch End has acoustic open mic nights on Wednesdays. The King's Head also in Crouch End has folk nights on Fridays, often some big names.

There are no pubs in Lower Downham. The Green Man, The new Tigers Head, and the Squirrel in Arms pub near Bellingham is closed. This is all due to housing contracters selling them out or something. Sadly This area outside Homebase is more like a Pub Graveyard. How many more pubs must end this way?
