All you fuckers that hang out in this forum need to get up to date with the jam world. Theres definitely not near enough talk of jam bands and the over all jam scene in here. What the fuck is that?!? Somebody please tell me there is another umphreak around

 

im sad to say, that im just not really made for jam bands :/

i like some, but i dont really listen to them on my own. i go to some jam band shows as well, but im not a freak at all. sorry

Umphrey's is bas ass. Jam bands rule the music scene. Most of the rest is total crap.

 

I agree man. And what kind of shitty question was that earlier? I saw umphreys NYE this year. Of course I have. There really arent a lot of good jam bands around right now. Thats why you've gotta support the ones that are good more than usual.

 

im sure its good, but i enjoy the music that i enjoy. i just got really sick of the whole "10-30 minutes of noodling bananza" i hear in most jam bands.

I'm critical as well, but I do not agree with you. There's a whole cool rockscene going on that rocks my very soul.

 

I'm not too big of a fan of jam bands.

I like the Dead, sure... but nahh... not really into most of them.

I do love to jam though, and I love jam (strawberry kind, preferably)

sorry, dont hate me, but thats my opinion. I dont like the same song to last 45 min. i think just about anything nowadays sucks. Im a purist...i listen to some old ass stuff. i just havent heard anything new that really grabs me, ya know? I cant stand Panic....cant stand them. phish...phhhhh....moe.....eh.. string cheese???? leftover? i havent heard umphree's.....i promise to check them out.

Dont ever disrespect phish like that ever again. If its not your bag, whatever, but phish is not something to be taken lightly.

 

ya, you cant diss phish. i may not be listening to much jam band music, but you cant say no to phish.

umphrey's is great too.

im going to se moe. in early febuary. i would go see the biscuits in sayerville NJ, but i cant leave the state cuz im on probation...

 

i haven't heard too much jambandness.. i like moe alot even though i only have probably 10 songs or so.. but i looovee the dead..
i'm not crazy about the songs that last forever, but whateva.i mean maybe if i was there..

Umphrey's is one of the best. I actually just tossed Anchor Drops in my stereooo.
I saw them live and I could easily compare it to the voice of god. Bayliss is the man.

Naturally, I have to agree with the fact that you can't diss Phish. You just can't.

I think I'd die of happiness if they threw another tour together =)

now we're talkin, tahts what I like to see. Hell yea Bayliss just serenates the crowd. I've seen them 6 times. Including NYE in chicago woohoo! Headin to summercamp this year too

 

Ahhh, so lucky. I've only seen them twice. The next show I'm catching is going to be Tea Leaf Green in March.

i missed umphreys at bonnaroo last year....
i was tripping way to hard to find my way to their stage, and i didn't have my set schedule on me at the time. i was down at centeroo, and there where 3 stages, with 3 bands playing at the same time.... and i couldn't tell which one was umphrey's.

i was also tripping way to hard to find Bisco either.... i learned my lesson! :banghead:
the moral of my story is either... keep your set schedual glued to your hand.... or take less than 6 potant gel tabs.
