My 13 year old lil' brother came home wasted...not that it never happened to me but at 13?? i remember not even having the concept of getting horribly drunk at that age...

My advice would be to beat him senseless and send him to millitary camp for the summer.

mabye you can try to gently talk to him about it in a way a friend would. I mean someone NEEDS to talk to him about it. It is not a good sign. This could really ruin his life. He is to young to control what happens to him. He may ruin himself.

 

Its good you want to do something. I have no idea what you should do. Maybe ask parenting forums, but make sure they know your his sister.

 

Defindantly talk to him, dunno what to say though. Drinking at 13 is like a guarentee to be a drunk for life.

 

oh man green you're scaring me...i think it's only a phase and he was just curious, i mean he's not a bad kid or definetely not your wild partier type so i dunno, i'll consider it an accident and see if it happens again

Drinking at 13 is in no way a gaurantee that he'll be an alcoholic. The majority of people drink as teenagers....and as adults....doesn't mean everyones an addict

 

Teens get addicted to alcohol way way way faster and easier than adults do. I think it takes adults like 10 years and teens like 6 months or something. I bet he will do it agian.

 

well my brother is 17 and he is still a little shit, he wasnt that bad really at 13, i was though i was the devils child. but luckily i grew out of it before i ended up dead or home-less. i think all you can really do is let it run the course, cause believe me if people nag him all the time he will just get worse. he wont listen. i think boys go through it worse than girls though. good luck if he gets that bad slip him a vallium or ritalin lol

 

it depends on your maturity level. i started drinking at 11 and smoking at 13. my brother started smoking at 11. my best friend started at 9!

 

once he discovers the almighty hangover he'll slow down

 

What if he doesn't?

 

He could drink too much and vomit but suck it back into his lungs and die instantly.

edit: or alcohol poisoning

 

Or he could smoke a J and not have to worry... except for the dictating bastards who choose to try to force a species that has been around longer than us into extinction.
