Hey guys. I need some help with my dissertation so thought I would sign up at Hip. I would love to get some response from homosexuals that are comfortable with their data being used. :)

The following study is investigating the relationship between sexual orientation and the ability to identify facial emotion. It involves a set of questionnaires about your demographic background, your childhood and handedness (whether you're left or right handed). It also contains a Chimeric Faces Test which involves looking at a set of photographs of emotional faces.

(Previous research has shown a link between sex and the ability to recognise facial emotion. Here, females usually excel. There is limited research on the role of sexual orientation and potential effects on identifying facial emotion. However, there are other findings that show differences in how sexual orientation can relate to brain function in other mental tasks.)

    Thanks guys.
