Anyone know of any trippy psychedelic windows themes? I can find plenty of trippy desktop backgrounds for like Windows XP, but I was looking for themepacks for Windows 7. You know, where it does a slideshow of different images.

Make your own... You can use any image as a desktop background and if you select more than one it will scroll through them at a rate you choose.

I'd go over to deviant art if I were you there's lots to choose from, just be careful swapping out any system files and make sure to follow the tutorials. You may know that windows doesn't allow custom themes so theirs various steps to take in order to bypass that. It would be a good idea to set your theme up in a virtual machine beforehand to be sure you know what you're doing before you go messing around in your main OS.

this would almost certainly require editing the windows registry database, which could result in strange behavior or unforseen consequenses.

i prefer a dark appearance, with colored text in kde. kde can be made to look many ways.

i have some of the icons from Unity, but i don't actually have unity installed.

If you have Windows 7 or Vista (maybe not with vista...) there's a way you can enable Windows DreamScene! Provided that your machine is powerful enough, you can run HD videos as a background image! There's quite a few trippy looped videos you can download or some vids from youtube. Something nifty to experiment with as long as you're comfortable enough to poke around system settings.
