Bump for 3 hits of the dolphin tabs last night with volupta. Was good lucy but not too strong, maybe as strong as 1 hofmann sadly, but still nice to meet lucy after around 6 months of missing her. These tabs were tasteless too, which was nice, because it was the exact same effects that the same sources slightly bitter tabs had, which again proves (to me) that lucy tabs can indeed have a taste, and so the rule of "bitter=spitter" is truly mistaken.

How was the bodyload? Was it a smooth comedown? I know its very hard to estimate but what would be your EDUCATED guess of the strength of the doses? 75ug? 100ug?

I had the dolphin yin yangs in 2010. They weren't that strong IMO either but they're decent enough. Which Hofmanns are you referring? And bitter equals spitter is a true adage, but most ppl assume ANY taste equals bitter which is not the case. Metallic, soapy, fruit loops. These are tastes atttibuted to LSD. Sour bitter is RC. Of course in crystalline form LSD has a mild bitter taste.ugh. Does anyone know what chems they're spraying in "legal weed" nowadays? Or were spraying in it in 2012. My friend gave me this huge bag of shake and stems for free last year saying I should make hash with it. Never got around to it. Well I just took 4 hits of the stuff, it smells like a barn / hay. Tasted like mid grade bud so I fiured its just some shit weed. But got me way too high to be weed and the buzz seems a little different. 2 hrs later I'm feeling it strong. Can't believe I fell for this shit I'm an idiot... Doesn't look like anything out of the ordinary. Like the shake you'd get from a big brick. But its not. And this is comin from someone who smokes dank like 5x a day for a few years now, I have a high tolerance. 4 hits of mid wouldn't get me high

 

It's worth noting that at this time, NONE of the comments on that articly say anything about a ban being a positive thing. Not all are educated, but not a single one blusters about banning anything.

i have wanted to get a sample of gallium for a long time. but so far, i've never seen or touched any. my "therapy putty" for my thumb is a pretty cool trip-toy. it's like silly putty, but more runny, so it quickly "melts" and flows.

if writer is talking about the same hoffmans as me (i think we both came across the "2010 hoffmans"), i would guess they were somewhere around 50-70 ug each. one was a mild trip, two was pretty decent, but it didn't get strong til 3 hits...and not quite as strong as a microdot which is supposed to be 150 ug.
my GUESS - the dolphins are 20 or 25 ug each.

i've not tried these dolphins though, just going off ~1/3 of a hoffman

I have no real way of even educated guessing what the dosage was as I've never taken LSD in a controlled measured way, so I don't even have one reference point for a true dosage. pics are in the lsd pic thread, it was very smooth and clean, good lucy.

 

I'd weigh in for CP47 or one of the JWH's. Ive had 018 and 250 and both of those were about half that time for me though so I dunno. I think 073 and am2220 are more like 2 hrs??
Kinda don't see what the motivation would be to give it away and "make hash" if it was laced with synthetics, but what you described is too different from a bunch of old stems and shake.

 

I speculate, maybe that person owned him some kind of retribution for something, he was given a bunch of 'shake and stems', out of which he was going to make hash, but it was some kind of leftover from a synthetic weed spray/application/whateverthefuckitscalled

 

.....A lot of people are also woefully ignorant of the intoxicating potential of normal pot, wrapped up as they are in their snobbishness. Strait schwag often lasts plenty long, and gets you plenty high. Anything will look like shaky shit after a year.

Not saying anything negative about anyone, just making an observation. You can't always judge a bag by it's appearance.

And does it make a mess? Wikipedia says it wets hands and whatever else it gets on, like it doesn't have much surface tension/cohesion? it sort of looks like to play with it and avoid messes, you'd need to have a smooth tray, and cold water handy.

It will indeed leave an ultra thin residue of gallium if you handle it with your hands, which I haven't done yet and don't plan to do (i only have 10g to play with and don't feel like wasting it ) There are some rules to observe when handling it:

always wash hands after use. while gallium appears to be non-toxic, rubbing your eyes with hands coated in a film of metal could cause mechanical irritation, and apparently some people get dermatitis from long periods of holding it (not recommended)

avoid putting it on glass(!!!) I made this mistake, poured it into a clear glass bowl thinking it would be the perfect thing to slosh around in. Gallium doesn't retain it's surface tension on glass and will simply cover the whole thing like an oil. It's not a disaster though, I just had to carefully scrape as much of it off as I could and then simply wash the glass bowl in hot water and soap. Glass bowl and 99% of gallium recovered. It forms a pretty mirror actually.

biggest rule: do not touch with another metal, especially aluminium. gallium will alloy with the metal and you will lose the gallium and the metal in question.

the best way to handle this is with plastic. If you want to hold it, just wear latex gloves. Store in plastic bottle, like a pill bottle. I suppose things like wooden spoons would also be good to manipulate it with, though i'd be worried about the porous nature of wood/wood splinters contaminating the sample.

Oh one last thing. Gallium shares a rare property with H2O wherein as it changes phases from liquid to solid, it expands. Gallium expands by a factor of 1.4 I believe, which means it's a bad idea to store it in tight spaces, as the container could rupture as the gallium solidifies. Give it room to breathe

 

got a 1/4 yesterday of some so called mids. very greenish, not very stemmy, little seeds. Looked good from the outside. smelled like it was sitting in a spice rack for 10yrs. I recognize the scent from my wooden spice rack drawer. beats a blank. Maybe. But there is some allergy smoke from it.. not very motivated high smoking it. I call it the lazy mans weed. I dont feel like being lazy sitting on my ass all day smoking shwag. so Ill get a few grams of dank for the same cost. considering i smoke 2grams a day=40 and get high, get shit done,feel good.. compared to paying 40 for shit Im going to smoke in a single day and cost the same, not getting high and not get shit done.. just an observation..
