The Bicycle Day Celebration was a spectacular event! I met up with Voyage, we explored the different areas of the event and got comfortable with the surroundings. I dosed a red star Microdot to start off with, the comeup was very gentle and felt drawn out, some of which had to do with the setting I think, the dose felt very clean although I got slight hints of nausea here and there. Voyage and I discussed some topics which we talked about on the forums and interacted with some other people as well, I met a couple from Israel, which made me realize the scope of this event and the Psychedelic Science Conference that was being held throughout the week. As the effects continued to pick up throughout the intial hour, I decided to wander off and check out some of the music. Alot of the music throughout the night on two of the stages was very hip hop beat based with electronic synths and effects. Not my ideal dance music but I kind of vibed with it.

I dosed a 150 mgs 6apb/MDMA cap about an 1 1/2 hours in to the LSD trip. After about a half hour I started feeling the roll and noticed they opened up the main stage. I was greeted with a very beautiful projector displaying fractal images and Bluetech was spinning. Bluetech has a very airy sound to him, the music felt like it was coming from more than the speakers, the walls and air felt wide open and the music felt very liquidy and spacious. The dj was elevated in the center in front of the fractal screen and there was a performance act to the left and artists to the right. I only caught a few Bluetech tracks which I wish I was able to see the full set.

Shpongle came on next and was absolutely amazing! Alex Grey was doing a live painting while Simon was spinning, pretty amazing moments. The candyflip was really starting to pick up at this point, The roll was pushing the effects of the LSD into overdrive and it felt like my dose nearly doubled for a good hour or so there. The fractals were rapidly changing colors at a breakneck pace which would pull me into the screen at some points and then throw me out the vortex. Alex Grey's paintings jumped off the canvas, I felt energies come from the paintings to the beat of the music. I tried to rendez vu with Voyage about halfway through the set but we didn't meet up til later. I started exploring dancing on the latter half of Shpongle's set. The room was pretty crowded so there was limited dancing capacity, although I did land myself right next to one of the speakers and the bass rattled my being, sending shivers throughout my being. Shpongle mixed in a few new tracks all of which sound pretty stellar among many of my favorites.

Later on, I met up with Voyage and we went to the chill out room. A very peaceful, serene enviornment, quite a contrast to the other stages. I explored some meditation, I experienced really amazing CEV's, I felt weightless except for my eyes fluttering, which represented itself as surges of electricity among the oceanic space that I was exploring. After that session, I laid down and had an inner calm going on that was pretty amazing.

After that we went back up stairs to more of the dance music, there was more space on this stage and I explored some dancing, at one point as I was maintaing a fairly consistent dance, there were 2 people that came up to the side of me and started exploring each other throughout the dance, I maintained my steady dancing while they explored each others movements in very interesting ways, felt it interesting that I was very much in my trance but their vibes sort of emanated into it.

I went back to the main stage after awhile and there was this amazing female DJ spinning, Alex Grey was still painting as well. This DJ was spinning a very downtemo set which spoke to me very well at the point I was at in the trip. It was very psychedelic music but some of it retained a house vibe which I found a really interesting sound. I was able to get front and center for the set and Alex Grey came down off the stage. Voyage met up with me after awhile and I could tell he was really enjoying the set as well.

Alex Grey came down from the stage and signed some autographs, took pics and talked with some folks, I attempted to talk to him but he was kinda dismissive which was unfortunate, He was talking to some other people as well though.

Shortly after that we left and today I'm still slightly feeling some affects. I feel overall refreshed and content and that event was definitely a memorable one.

I ended up eating mushrooms instead on bicycle day, but I'm hoping to get a chance to dose LSD son with the summer approaching -- it will only be my third time!

was an interesting mushroom trip though!

I only did some MXE on 420, I had a pretty sober bicycle day weekend :). Just good ganj and good time with my lady. It was still very psychedelic; discovered amazing healthy restaurant to eat at, discovered I'm in love with chemistry and will explore that, discovered some mind-blowing animation:

and 1/4 finished my college  haha. Job interview went amazing, both sides felt it was a perfect match, and I have the best grades of my whole life this semester, solid 4.0, which I've never come close to. Now for a rather busy 2 week break where maybe I can finally have some trippage :D and more importantly, catch up on sleep and sun!

4/20 was pretty amazing for me. I went to by far the largest public smoke out I've ever been to. Cops rode past and watched the clouds of smoke billowing up from all around the park and didn't do anything. I gotta say, that's a really great feeling, especially where I live.

Congrats on the grades and the job interview:)

Also, that video is awesomely trippy. A FB friend of mine produces underground rap music, and he used some of that animation for one of his videos. I always wondered where it came from. He sampled Massive Attack's "Dissolved Girl" too. Check the song out. It's pretty good, imo. I especially like the second verse.

For 420 we decided to get super baked and try to re-wire a Gibson Les Paul of mine (changing pickups and adding capacitors) to give it a more "stoner metal" tone. We succeeded after several hours of screwing around, getting distracted, and trying to figure out where we were at. It sounds amazing and will hereby be known as "the 420". It was an awesome day.

So, I'm one of those weird psychedelic users who rarely ever smokes pot. But I have been smoking recently out of curiosity and I'm pretty sure it's a huge waste of my time. Anyway, has anyone ever experienced phantom pains? Nearly every single time I've smoked pot I've felt these vague sensations in parts of my body I've never felt before, usually in my neck area, and usually they're a dull sort of pain. I'm quite sure it's psychological which is why I call it phantom. It might be something related to my blood pressure rising, I don't know.

Yeah pot can cause all sorts of bodily sensations. I've been a bit turned off from it in recent times because I find it contributes strongly to poor eating and sleeping habits unfortunately. I quite enjoy it but the sequelae are annoying.

Bump for introducing a friend to MXE in an hour. It will be his first experience with anything other than pot. 45mg oral should do the trick beautifully :)

Hehe, yeah it was a bit much. I should have started with 20-25mg. But he enjoyed it IMMENSELY, and was describing experiences I normally only hear about on LSD trips, rebirth, realizations, all that stuff. Very deep. Awesome awakening to psychedelic mindstate, he felt at one with nature, the galactic consciousness of dissociatives, a sense of sublime tranquility.

It was intense enough that he vomited twice out of sheer psychological force . . . at that point I thought I should have dosed lower, but at the same time exactly how many baby steps to get to the big ones does one need to take; how many people hadn't even tried marijuana before being given a 200ug dose of LSD in the 1960s. He described it as being a death and rebirth experience and talking about religion, god, sex, ethics, physics . . . very awesome time!
