Has anyone had any success with ANYthing? I've tried salves and have felt the money just thrown away. I tried UV and it wound up giving me burns everywhere but where the treatment was needed (plus I was not confident about the followup). I tried Skin Cap and that seemed to work, but then it was pulled off the market in the US. I also tried an Asian accupuncturist who wound up giving me pills for my chi. The pills changed weekly and the price went up.

    Any suggestions?

Try Coal Tar. I had psoriasis patches as a kid (they've come back, I found this post while searching for a cure :p), and Coal Tar helped a little.

If it's in your hair, try using T-Gel shampoo. In fact, I just Googled T-Gel to find out a bit more about it...guess what one of the active ingredients is? Yep, coal tar.

    Hope this helps :)

Coal tar is good. Elidel or Protopic (by prescription) are excellent. If it is very severe, Soritane capsules or Enbrel injections by prescription are VERY effective.

I have a friend for whom nothing worked, until she went to a Chinese herbalist who gave her some funky tea. I don't know what the name of it is, but she takes it I think once or twice a day and she hasn't had a big outbreak since she started on it.

immediately prior to showering/bathing do cover affected areas with baby oil.

the affected areas will absorb water which gives a home to bacteria, which ichies.

The baby oil will prevent that by filing the pores with oil.
