Does anyone know how to fix a PS3? Whenever I turn mine on the XMB just won't come up, I just watch those wavy white lines. Pissed the fuck off
Hold the on button for 6 seconds to reset. Is that button yellow? Because that's the signal of the ps3's .002% failure rate. I'll try to help tomorrow when I'm not on my iPod touch.
call sony say its fucked, if your warrantys good they'll fix it for free. I call em up every 3 months and say its fucked, that way my warranty keeps getting extended
yeah but I'm more interested in why it's fucked it froze in the game, and then i turned it off, this thing happens
its just fucked, theres not much you can do. Happens to ps3's sometimes but when it does thats pretty much it im on my third ps3 through failure but including getting my warranty extended im on my fifth
if your sending it back you cant take it out, it has to be like it was the day you got it with the hd in it. Sony refurbishes it and you get it back within a week
yeah you can easily put your own hd in but you have to send it back with the original hd otherwise they wont take it
Ah. Well that'd be the solution then, but they're expensive. Unless you can just back it all up on some USB drives.....or an iPod. If it has a backup utility that is....
Are you telling me you actually found and downloaded the PS3 OS, and properly installed it onto the HD?
nope...that doesnt really make any sense unless you can hack the shit out of it. You can install linux though which isnt too bad if you code it yourself first
