$7-20 The new memory cards for Ps2 will be big enough to run FFXI also im not sure but i thought i read somewhere that the next gen consoles will not be harddrive based dont be cheap go buy a memory card
bahahahahaha what a noob... First things first, of course you need a memory card, noob. What the hell were you thinking, like ps2 had a hard drive or something. Second of all... is ps2 better than xbox? Well... its not as fast as an xbox, and it doesnt have as good of graphics... but playstation 2 has these things going for it that the xbox doesnt have... 1. its lighter 2. it isnt made by microsoft 3. mote titles/games than xbox, more original games mostly all xbox games will come out for the PC... thus why both systems suck in comparison to a well-built computer. One thing that sets xbox automatically higher than the PS2 though, is that you can get a mod chip for it, and install a new hard drive for it... lets say get it a nice 120 GB hard drive with a mod chip... than all you need is a DVD burner and you can play any xbox game for free. Of course thats not legal and you shouldnt do that .
my mate just bought san andreas and a new ps2 (one of them small ,bout the size of a dvd case),got it back to his house and it wouldnt read the disc. i think the ps2 manufacturers design them to stop working after a while so you have to go get another.every one i know that has had a ps2 does not have one any more. xbox -store music on it -listern to music whilst playin on games -no need for memory cards -dont brake after couple of months ps2 - errmmm.........
