Protest KFC!

Me and 3 peole are planning a portest out side of KFC in Durham region (whitby/oshawa. Near the KFC by the Whitby Mall) out side of a KFC sometime this summer we are trying to get things togerther and hopefully it will fallow through. And well I was just wondering how many people who are close or in this region would be interested in doing so.

Its not offical yet, but I was just wanted to see if there was anyone interested.

I will keep you posted for people who are interested. So just drop a line here to say that if we did and I gave you time and place and got everything in order you would do so.

ps, boycott fast food, eat slow food

 

well they do kill alot of chickens

 

they've supported the triple k for years. and put money towards anti-pot campaigns.

I'm a sucker for fast food but KFC is too frightening for even my munchie power.

 

Its not to protest fast food, it to protest the curel treatment of the chickens they slaughter. They whip them into walls, kick them, and stomp on them.

i don't really care about the cruelty aspect. they're just chickens.

factory farms like that are horrible for the environment tho.

 

hrm, i'd say if you're worried about cruelty start with protesting the cruelty of humans towards humans, specifically children. pple are allowed to treat kids worse than they can treat animals.

ps, please continue to boycott fast foods~spooner's right, it's horrible for the environment and for the overall health of every person who decides to eat fast food. granted, there are a few execptions, but it's all so overpackaged and full of chemicals. please eat at local restaurants instead of mega-chains.

pps, does anyone remember when kfc used to be called kentucky fried chicken. they were losing business because they had the word fried in their name, so they changed to the initials instead. nice spin technique, huh?

They're just chickens, who the fuck cares. The method of actually killing the live chickens is a lot worse than those videos are. They just hang the chicken upside-down by the legs on a conveyor belt and they go around and when their heads fill up with blood, their heads explode.

And Twizz again I care and thats why im doing this....its your opinion and this is mine. If peace is going to exist or at least a little its pretty much got to be in all aspects. So again Im just looking for peole interested not for your opinion.

I have gotten enough negitive feed back which is pretty sad, is everyone really desencitised from harming animals? Or anything for that matter? I know there is more sevire issuse in the world that need to be stopped, but one small step at a time. Im new to this and this will (hopefully) be my first protest, and deffinitly not my last.

 

Hey, this sounds so sweet. totally wish I didn't live in south carolina down here in the states. Would totally show up. I've been wanting to organize a protest at our local KFC as well! Hope things go well and message me with details. I want to be kept posted on how things go. I would really like some ideas so I can organize my own protest. Peace!

They're just chickens!??? Grrrr! They are living, breathing, feeling creatures with just as much right to a happy healthy life as you.

I raise chickens and ducks for eggs. They're not the smartest animals, but they have alot of personality. They greet me when I come home, running up to our truck, quacking and clucking. I pet them and cuddle them and one of them thinks she's a cat and likes to sleep with the kitties. They're very social and don't like to be seperated from the other animals. They are living beings and they deserve a healthy life.
