Russian 'trolls' have been in the news a lot. This article relates to Instagram, which is owned by Facebook:

For Russian ‘Trolls,’ Instagram’s Pictures Can Spread Wider Than Words

But who decides what is propaganda and whom to ban? The social media organisations do. Of course they're very happy to carry adverts on their services, which are essentially capitalist propaganda, because it makes them money. Their agenda stems from the mindset of multinational corporations, and I wouldn't trust their integrity more than I could fly to the moon. They emanate their own propaganda, selling you pictures of shiny happy people which could be you if you sign up to their services, and if they don't like what you've got to say they'll boot you off.
